What NCIAF is

NCIAF is an Indigenous-led non-profit with the mandate to support Indigenous agriculture and food sovereignty and advance reconciliation in agriculture. It is the operational arm for Indigenous-led agrifood that the framework side has been missing — FNIGC handles data governance; NCIAF handles Indigenous agrifood practice.

Why NCIAF matters

NCIAF is the institutional anchor the framework-deployment gap analysis has been missing. The framework side (CARE, IEEE 2890, OCAP, FNDGS) is rich; the operational Indigenous agrifood institutional anchor is NCIAF. NCIAF is the Canadian operational analog to:
